Summer is gradually coming to an end for this year. Holidays have mostly been taken, summer cottages cleaned, boats lifted out of the water or at least planned to be, and calendars are quickly filling up with work again. For many, the first working day starts with a familiar ritual: coffee cup in hand, emails open and a small hope that nothing too surprising is waiting.

But as so often happens, the very things that were meant to be taken care of “right after the holidays” are waiting at the top of the list. Tools are dug out of storage, hoists are started for the first time in weeks, and at the same time you notice that a periodic inspection has slipped, a spare part should have been ordered back in early summer, or a device needs a little more attention than you remembered.

And yes, we see this too.

After the summer, the phones start ringing more often. Quotations made in the spring come back to life, long-awaited projects start moving and customers want inspections done as quickly as possible. Suddenly the calendar holds many things that everyone thinks should have been finished yesterday.

This is a familiar phenomenon for us every year. Autumn starts at full speed, and the rush as such is no surprise – it is part of this time of year. Even so, we try to stay on top of things and serve as flexibly as possible. Sometimes the schedule allows for the same day, sometimes the next, and sometimes we have to ask for a little patience. One thing does not change, however: it is always worth asking. We often find a solution, or at least a suitable time, surprisingly quickly.

We wish everyone a safe and smooth start to the autumn working season. Let’s make sure together that equipment is in good condition, inspections are up to date and work runs safely – so there is also time left for the next summer holidays.
