TER – more than 60 years in the world of switches and control devices
Founded by Sergio Blasi in 1962, TER successfully entered the emerging sector of control devices for industrial hoists. From the 1970s onwards, the company gradually internationalised, with its first exports to Spain.
In the 1980s TER expanded into new sectors such as wind power, focusing on innovative products that integrate mechanics and electronics.
In 2022 TER celebrated its first 60 years of industrial history, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and resolutely taking on the new challenges of constantly evolving markets. This is achieved through a strategic transition from family management to a more managerial approach, while ensuring the continuity of core values and the active presence of the founding family.
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015
TER was one of the first Italian companies in its sector to obtain ISO 9001 certification, which it has held since 1993.
It later upgraded its quality system to UNI ISO 9001:2015, adopting a strategic, process-based approach covering all company functions, from design and production to purchasing, sales, after-sales service and measurement and functional inspection.
