GIS GP pendant control wiring
GIS GP hoists have low-voltage control as standard (42 V AC).
Depending on the model year, the pendant control is either a Giovenzana or a TER pendant.
Both have the same functions and controls.
The pendant control is wired in the following order:
Terminal 1 – control voltage (42 V AC)
Terminal 2 – up
Terminal 3 – down
Terminal 4 – second speed
Terminal 10 – main contactor / emergency stop
The GIS pendant control is normally wired so that the button for the opposite direction prevents driving in the other direction:
When the up button is pressed, the speed 1 block (NO) closes and at the same time the red (NO) block releases.
This NO block is in series with the opposite direction, and if there is no mechanical interlock between the buttons, the hoist stops because neither control signal gets through due to the NC blocks.

Please note that by carrying out procedures you are not familiar with or do not master, you may in the worst case damage the device or cause a hazardous situation.
