GIS GP chain installation
NOTE! Use only original chains.
- The geared limit switch must be mechanically disengaged before pulling in the chain
- The weld seam of the vertical chain links must face inwards on the chain sprocket
- Install the chain stopper in line with the hoist
- Install the hook as shown in the pictures, 1-fall and 2-fall versions
- Make sure the chain is sufficiently lubricated; an unoiled chain shortens the service life
Please note that by carrying out procedures you are not familiar with or do not master, you may in the worst case damage the device or cause a hazardous situation.
