Mechanical grippers

We manufacture mechanical grippers for a wide range of lifting needs – for example handling cylinders, motors, drums, concrete rings, moulds and various elements. Grippers can be designed to grip either the outer or inner surface of the load, depending on the application and lifting method. 

Special applications include grippers for lifting train bogies and rail beams. The structure and operating principle of each gripper are carefully designed according to the shape and material of the piece and the requirements of the lifting work – with safety and usability first.

Description

Mechanical grippers are designed according to the shape and material of the piece and the lifting method. A gripper can be a good solution for handling bogies, concrete parts, beams, pipes, cylinders or other special pieces when the load needs to be lifted safely without separate slinging.

Tuotetekno also makes customised grippers for special applications. The selection takes into account the load weight, gripping surface, lifting direction and operating environment so that the solution works reliably in practice.
