IGA conductor rail

The IGA conductor rail system offers an efficient, maintenance-free power supply solution for moving equipment in industrial environments. The system consists of a copper strip running inside a PVC plastic housing, allowing unlimited track length without cable stacking. Quick, easy installation and several current ratings (40–140 A) make it a cost-effective alternative to traditional systems. The conductor rail withstands mechanical stress well and can be repaired quickly if damaged.

Description

IGA conductor rail system

The IGA conductor rail system suits any power supply that needs lateral travel without a cable stacking area, or a system with several units moving freely along the track. The 4-pole rail suits all systems that need no neutral conductor, only the phases and earth.

The basic idea is a copper strip that runs safely and neatly inside a PVC plastic housing. The system consists of pre-fitted rail sections with copper already installed, which are easy to join and quick to install.

Why choose a conductor rail system?

Excellent value for money
A low purchase price and easy installation save money at many stages. Thanks to its versatility, a conductor rail system is a price-competitive alternative even to a traditional flat cable festoon.

Several current ratings
No oversized purchases, just a system that fits the purpose and saves money. Range 40 – 140 A.

Simple to install
The track is quick and easy to assemble with a few spanners and a screwdriver. The conductor rail system saves time for other installation work and shortens the total installation time on site.

Maintenance-free
The plastic housing needs no maintenance, and wear on the collector brushes is minimal.

Quick to repair
If the system has been damaged by an external cause, repair is quick: the damaged track section is removed and replaced with a new one. At best this takes less than 15 minutes, and the equipment is back in use.
